submitted by Roy H. - |Recommended: NoMid — Pretty awful low key, maintenance takes forever. Everything is horribly made. Water heater broke at least 3 times. Noise is terrible at times. The grounds crew take weeks to clean the area around the apartment. Would not recommend
response from property -Hi Roy. Thank you for taking the time to review University Park. I have reviewed both work orders that you submitted, the first in September and was addressed in less than 24 hours. The second work order was also addressed,, however, we had to wait for parts and unfortunately do not have control of the supply houses in the area. If you have specific items that you are referring to regarding the grounds cleaning, please bring them to my attention. My team is there multiple times per week to ensure that the apartment complex is clean and in good repair. They are human and if something is amiss, please let the office know so that we can address it immediately. Thank you! Kind Regards, Community Manager
submitted by Ethan W. - |Recommended: YesGood but small — This place is pretty nice but it’s really expensive for the size of the apartment and there’s absolutely no parking. There’s 72 men who live in the building and only like 12 parking spaces
response from property -Hi Ethan! Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Parking is definitely limited in the area. University Park is located super close to the BYU campus and often times we have more availability than people to park. Apparently that was different this year. We have some creative solutions for students to park. Please reach out to the office so that i may share the information with you. Thank you. Kind Regards, Community Manager
submitted by Daisy B. - |Recommended: YesMid — Overall the apartment isn't the greatest you could have. The rooms are tiny, management takes forever to get back to you, and it takes forever to for management to contact maintenance. However, the management is nice, I haven't had a problem paying rent, and I feel fairly safe, plus it's close to campus.
submitted by Grant B. - |Recommended: NoYour Maintenance team is terrible. Change it. — We had so many things go wrong and it took forever to fix it. Also parking was terrible in the fall semester people were parking everywhere without the permit. This spring semester has been great. But things need to change for you to charge as much as you do.
submitted by Landen S. - |Recommended: YesGood place — Great place. Small problems here and there but overall good place to live. Parking is not great. If you come home later than 9 pm you will not have a place to park. And there is no where close that you can park. Very frustrating.
response from property -Landen, Thank you for your review. We understand your concerns about the parking and we are working to find the best solutions for all of our residents to be happy with our parking.

submitted by Bradley M. - |Recommended: NoForget it — There was a fire in the laundry room which by the grace of god was contained. After three weeks, the room still has not been cleaned and everything is covered in black soot, but don't worry the machines that you pay to run still work. They've been doing water main work I think... every now and then the water will be shut off for the entirety of the day. After they turned the water back on after the last shutoff, water unpredictably rains from the bathroom vent over our toilet in a steady stream. Basic needs are almost met key word almost , but I would never recommend anyone to live here.
response from property -Bradley, Thank you for your feedback! We are sorry to hear about your overall negative experience. We value you and your concerns! Have you submitted a maintenance request regarding the water leaking from the bathroom vent? Let's see what's going on there. We are always looking to improve and your feedback will help us accomplish that. If there is any situation we can assist with, please reach out to management!
submitted by Parley L. - |Recommended: YesA Decent Place, If You Can Afford It — University Park is a pretty decent place to live. Not amazing, but not terrible either. Like many other places, it has its pro's and con's. Pros -Very close to campus -Nice TV, appliances, etc. -2 fridges -Ward is really great -Doesn't oversell on parking -They had a promotion for a 100 gift card when you sign a lease but its a hassle to actually get it Cons -Extremely small they fit 6 people in a space that should hold 4 people max -Rent is overpriced around 450, other places of similar pricing and location, such as Campus View South, have twice the space or more. IMO it should be 350 at max -Only 3 washers and 3 dryers for the entire complex Maintenance is slow to respond -Only 2 bathroom sinks
response from property -Parley, Thank you for your feedback and will take everything stated into account! We are always looking to improve and find ways to be better. University Park is committed to you and your living experience here. Again, thank you for your feedback.
submitted by Isaac B. - |Recommended: YesGreat property, smaller living spaces — Easy to park and each apartment is equipped with everything you need. You don't have a lot of space in your room or apartment in general but it still works out great.
response from property -Isaac, Thank you for your review! We appreciate your feedback! Thanks for calling University Park your home this year.
submitted by Andrew W. - |Recommended: YesPretty good in my opinion — Good except for limited cabinet space for 6 people, and limited parking space
response from property -Andrew, Thank you for your feedback! We are always looking to improve so thank you! We are committed to our residents. Please reach out if we can help with anything.
submitted by Kapono H. - |Recommended: YesMy first couple weeka are nice, i like the residents here they are all fun and friendly, very welcoming — Its definitly new, but its worth it, the appliences here are very nice compared to other apartments, our storage is a lot more then i thought there would be sharing a room with 5 other people. The parking isnt bad but im not too sure everyone is moved in yet so i have to make sure i get a pass
response from property -Kapono, Thank you for your 5-star review! We appreciate having you here at University Park! We are committed to our residents and always looking to improve, so thank you again. Please reach out if you have anything we can assist with!
submitted by Nicholas F. - |Recommended: NoNice Location, Terrible Professionalism — They are terrible at communication. They will tell us they are coming less than 24 hours in advance, never show up, and then surprise us when we are unavailable or more than 24 hours later. They walked into our apartment without knocking, which shows us that they do not keep themselves updated on who is still living in which apartment. Recently the rent skyrocketed more than 15 with no itemized bill to explain why, nor any warning. Their balconies are not up to code,, they sit a full 5 inches below my hip, and useless construction constantly puts the staircase nearest to us out of commission, causing inconveniences in mobility and access.. Also, when I checked in during COVID of August 2020, none of their workers were wearing masks, and they constantly breached the 6-foot distance guideline. We had an appraisal and they sent us an email the DAY OF and told us to be ready between 3-6pm, when most of my roommates and I were working. The appraisers did not arrive until 4pm THE NEXT DAY. There was no communication on their end explaining the need for a change in appointment. For cleaning checks, they sent us an email stating that between 9am-12pm is when we would have our check. They literally entered our apartment without knocking at 4 pm, when only 3 of the six residents were home as we made ourselves available for the window they had set . There was no apology for the change or the intrusion. They also never sent a professional cleaner to clean our air vent. I would recommend any other apartment compared to this.
response from property -Nicholas, I am sorry for the frustrations you have felt with University Park entering outside of the windows they had given. There has been a recent change in the manager and I hope this will be a better experience for you. If you would like to discuss this more, please reach out to Amber at 801-370-1000.
